Today we will hike about 24,7 km, temperature is still above average, about 23 degrees, perfect weather conditions. Although according to weather statistics in Galicia we expect rain and fog but we don’t notice anything during our pilgrimage.

We have decided to take an alternative route into Sarria via picturesque Samos. The Benedictine monastery of Samos is one of the oldest and largest in Spain. After a quiet hike through the forest we can see the monastery in the valley.
